Some of the more popular names are derived from the Bible. Paul, Mathew,Simon,Peter,James,Thomas, John, Andrew, etc...etc...

Muslims have generic names too. Ali, Muhhammad (With about a million variations in terms of spelling, but its still the same thing) and Joe.
Most of their names are unpronouncable, so I just call them all "Thundercat"
TBH i am glad i am not called "dave" i think its the most common name were i live.Especially you can walk around at a factory (ex job) saying "Hiya dave" the amount of people that say "hi" even though i know none of them.
Also on the muslim thing its part of there cultare to have mohammed in there name isn't it?
