...map keys to a mouse button?

I've never been able to figure it out. For example, I'm using a G5 and I want to map my '6' key to the side thumb button, how do I go about doing this using setpoint?
Ive read stuff but still can't figure it out

Thanks in advance for the help

+1 for useful help

If you can't just press the button while you're in the controls setup screen you can do it through setpoint.

Just change the mapping in setpoint for the button to being a keystroke and assign "6" to it. That should do it.

to follow on from Doctor, there should be a little icon in ur task bar tray, otherwise go to start bar > all programs >logitech > setpoint.

that will let u map ur mouse keys and alter the DPI of ur mouse.

if u dont have 'setpoint' or logitech in ur 'all programs' u havent got the software intalled and need to insert the cd provided with the mouse and follow directions.

That helps, but where is the option to change the mapping to a keystroke?

It's in the dot right above where you selected "other".

Just go in game, click on the box you want to change it to, then when it is highlighted click your mouse instead of a keystroke.

Hahaha, but on my mx518 I can just click on it when BF2 asks for a command, and it's a lot easier that way.
