I have 2 possible options:

Logitech G15 Keyboard + G5 Mouse

https://www.logitech.com/lang/images/0/12248.jpghttps://www.logitech.com/lang/images/0/12250.jpg
+ Display on keyboard
+ Backlight on keys
+ 18! Macro keys
+ More buttons on mouse

Razor Tarantula Keyboard + Copperhead mouse

https://www.razerzone.com/store/images/tarantula_MED.jpghttps://www.razerzone.com/store/images/medium/copperheadblue_MED.jpg

+ USB & Sound plugs on KB
+ Extensible Keyboard
- Looks cheap
- Less buttons on mouse

Which of these is the better? I'm pretty used to Logitech because I owned several LT mice, the MX1000 being the current, and I am very impressed with the G15 and G5 looks.
My only question: I can only spend 140+ Euro's once. Which should I choice?

How does the Copperhead rest in your hand? Like the G5 with a shaped curve?
And second : Does the G15 support BF2 & BF2142?

I seriously can't believe this question in being asked again,

G5 + G15 = An incredible G20!

Tarantula + Copperhead = Something nobody would ever want anywhere near their hands.

Logitech for the win.

The Copperhead: Rest perfectly in my huge hands, and it's quite comfortable when you play for a very, very, very long time

The G15: Supports BF2.. Yes, it shows on EA's site which products are supported by BF2. And I must say it just works perfectly... Just amazed ..

For me everything is perfect.

Yes it does if you want great response times and no stedder from slow conponents.

I have the top setup and it was the best buy ive made. The mouse with the additional weights and adjustments and shape make for a great gameing mouse. Even without the software for the mouse installed, i still have 3 great dpi settings that help greatly when being infantry, or flying or driving vehicles.

I say the locitech hands down. had a copperhead and it just felt cheap and was too hard to reach the buttons.

Hardware matters.

I went from a 17" 'Tube' screen, to a 17" LCD 8ms response time. It makes a difference.
And from a standard optical mouse to a Laser mouse, you should try it.

Ok, well thanks for the opinions, but I think I am gonna go for the Logitech Combo.

I use the Tarantua + Copperhead, I happen to love it.

I don't prefer contour to my devices, the razer products may not be as comfortable albeit they sure work well.

i actually currently have the copperhead and the tarantula

i have used a g15 but not the g5 so i cant comment on the mouse

as for the tarantula IMO its a deffinate yes

the response time is VERY fast

it has programmable keys with the razer synapse (same as the copperhead mouse) tarantula also has the options of interchangeable docks i.e a backlight or an ingame webcam

as for the g15

well tarantula wipes its arse

i like the saitek keyboards personally. noted, they do not have any macro keys or anything, but the key design is far superior to anything. period.

i also have a logitech mx518 (similar to the G5, but older and cheaper, sightly less resolution). i love it. i am never getting another mouse. never. i have played with the G5, but did not screw with the weights, which were set for someone not-me, but it felt real nice. i have tried the razor as well, and didnt like the way it felt...too sharp of angles on the side. i supose i could get used to it, but i love my logitech way more.

for me, i would get the saitek keyboard (G15 as second option), and the G5 mouse. trust me, you do not need the extra 200dpi...it is PLENTY sensitive already.

I wish I could afford an LCD or any monitor bigger than my crappy 15.6" CRT monitor.

I use a Logitech B58 for my mouse, and a crappy standard keyboard by Rosewill.  Hopefully for Christmas i'll get the G5 and G15 I asked for.

Go with a G15 and the Copperhead.  I can vouch for the Copperhead, and I heard the G15 is good.  I'm using a Saitek Eclipse right now, but there are no real gaming features on it except that it's quiet and is backlit.  Still pretty cool though.

I use Logitech G15 + Razer Diamondback. After using a bunch of MX500's prior to getting the Razer, I can say that I was never really impressed with the shape and feel of that series of Logitech mice. The Razer mice are so great, it's a shame they really cheaped out on the keyboard and headphones, both of which just look far too plain. Come on... no backlit keys on a Razer keyboard? wtf is that? Plus the design is just lame as hell. Oh well, the mice are still best IMO.

The pricing on Newegg don't look very good for the Tarantula: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6823114001

That one guy says that the USB port is only 1.1

LOL, IT HAS IT'S OWN ONBOARD RAM, 32KB of it.  Wonder how much the G15 has.

I use a razer copper head and a dell quiet key.  The copperhead works pretty well but you should go to the store and check out both mouses to see which one feels better

I own the G15 and the G5 and it really is a match make in heaven. The G5 mouse is by far the best mouse ever built. You can customize the weight of the mouse, change its sensitivity on the fly, and it fits beautifully in your hand. Its a snipers secret weapon.

And the G15 KB is great when playing BF2 beacuse you can see all your stats, server's name and IP, how many people are in your squad, who has the best score... etc. Not to mention the back lit key, the macro keys, and its game mode. This KB accounts for every detail, right down to the shift key being just slightly shorter so you can easily get your hand into position.

Both divices are equally impressive, and no gamer should be without.
