It will not let me log into my soldier.

Title pretty much sums it all up. I can manage to log into my EA account but when I select my soldier it just half logs in and stalls with the damn walking walker mocking me.

I've accepted bf2142.exe via the firewall but no luck. I've then tried to try logging in to my soldier with the firewall turned off and STILL no luck. Anyone got any smart ideas.

never heard of this before, your internet connection must be working otherwise you couldn't connect.

Was it downtime? it might have been something do to with the master server or something.

Thanks for the reply. Well I managed to get it to work, basically after every patch I had to re allow the .exe and my list of allowed programs had multiple .exes

My theory is the firewall app. got confused on which one is running, So I deleted all from the list and re-allowed then replaced my shortcut.

Problem solved. Now the only problem is these disconnects happening all the time.
