I was wondering, I go onto a few servers and get kicked for "having a protected name."

In the game, I am "AoD_Symbiote." I know it can't be a clan issue, since there are other clans in the games I get kicked from (and not just the ones that host the map.)

Is there any reason for it or is there something about "AoD" that isn't good?

Never heard of that problem before. Is is Punkbuster kicking you or the Server admin?
Also try removing your profile from your "My Documents" folder and see if that does anything

There's nothing on PunksBusted for "AOD", so I really don't know. Have other people been kicked with this message?

You are kicked by Punkbuster because "AOD" is a protected/registered clan tag for "Army of Darkness" ... more information can be found here:

My friend has 101st in his name and he gets kicked from a few servers as well.

Here's the gist of it; if you squad puts in every person in your squad into PB's database with the AOD tag on it and you join the squad later on and you are not in the pb database as belonging on the squad, you will be kicked for the protected name thing. Same thing happens in AA. The simple fix would be to just have your admin add you to the PB database and you won't be kicked.
