One guy just told me TFT is crap......  What should i do?

Tell the guy to put down the crack pipe.  Almost all LCD panels made today are TFT (Thin Film Transistor), also known as active matrix.  What really matters now is how the crystals work, which comes down to techniques like IPS, MVA, PVA, etc.

TFT LCDs is a variant of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) which use Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) technology to improve their image quality.

Listen to Agent_Dung_Bomb and tell the other guy to fuck off - he hasn't got a clue what he's talking about!

Having said that £118 is a fucking good price for an 19" monitor!
