> Last night I had a MONSTER map (for me anyway). It was the Heartbreak Ridge 64 man Oman server, and the teams were 7 on 7 at first. I was up in the 130 range, had gotten my Basic AA,enough kills for the Vet AA as soon as I have enough time in,Basic Knife, and Basic Engineer, and was in a good spot to get a Silver Star, and this happened. The tickets were 45-3 our way,and I ran up on a guy prone capping a flag and hosed him with the P90,getting the kill and the flag defend, and got the good old "there is a problem with your connection" message, just as the map ended, and I thought at first this was just a glitch I used to see at the end of maps, and it would straighten itself out and I'd get credit for an intense effort. Even though my final stats would have been 133,80 teamwork, and 34-38 k/d,which isn't a lot compared to some,I was still fired up. I'll be damned if it didn't soon give me the "you've lost your connection to the server",just as the ping in the server shot to 4000,I couldn't get back in,and this morning I looked at my stats and got no credit for anything, assuming the server crashed hard. This sucks worse than a gaping chest wound. Tommy D.

Yah ma n I h8 the dam " there is a problem with your connection " i get it all the time i suggest you get better internet -high speed- or more faster then what you have and close all background programs. im getting to 90 for a ping to 300 on some servers . but its getting to get better soon . and i also would be mad for that happening.

If the points aren't awarded, it's a server side issue. The server probably crashed just before the round eneded and never sent the point data. Remember 1.3 and the approx. 5000 points you never got? Well, at least it doesn't happen as often anymore. I've had to get Expert Engy Combat 3 (three) times before it actually sticking to my stats. Vet aviator I took twice. If your connection should crash mid-round and you'd log back on to the server, you would notice that the points you made before your PC crashed/ctd:d, would still be there.

So nothing wrong with your connection, the server you were on just decided to call it a day.

> Glad someone understands. My connection has been a little on the buggy side since Charter upgraded me to the 5mbit package from the 3mbit. I can check my speed on bandwidthplace.com,and get 900k one time, run it again and get 4.8mbit. It seems a little more stable when I use Speakeasy, but on normal stuff like browsing, sometimes it hangs up just like dialup, where you get the error 404,then click refresh and it's there. Tommy D.
