I think I've heard every kit get flamed. People even flame Anti-tank!! I have come to the conclusion that the kits in BF2 are, in fact, well-balanced. Some players excel in different kits, but I don't think a particular kit is more powerful than another. It's more of a question of the player: if you snipe a lot, do you know how to stop an incoming enemy with a G3?

Since there is no unanimous decision as to which kit is the most overpowered, one can conclude that it's simply a question of people being sore losers.

Totally agreed. Assault is way under-rated and those who bash the AT kit just dont want to give up those precious shock paddles.

Anyways, I really don't care what you do, but I just think it's kind of lame if all you do is throw a claymore at somebody and run, and then you think you're good because you killed them. I don't really care if anybody does the lamest things, so long as they don't say they owned me because that's just not true.

You just have to know how to play. I'm Anti-Tank almost all the time now and I'm still almost always in the top 5 on a server. I also have a 2.3 SPM. I love my P90 and SRAW combination, the only other thing I could ask for is grenades.

They might have been balanced when the claywhores blew up their teammates when they tried to be gay. Or when you could blow up a claymore with a grenade. Now even if you see a claymore you have no choise but to go trough it and hope you get revived because you cant take em out with grenades. I dont hate good snipers who have way more kills with the sniper rifle then with claymores.

If you consider urself a good sniper then you better have ALOT less claymore kills then sniper rifle kills.

Every player is biased to a certain kit simply because it complements their style better than the other ones. I play medic because the G36E gives me precise firepower for when I rush in somewhere like an idiot and then have to use the medic bags to heal myself. Plus reviving your team is vital to your success.

I prefer the SRAW/DAO combination. I just got 2 gold medals today as AT. I think it's the most powerful kit. +1 for being AT

After getting all my experts, I no longer have a need to play any kits for badge collecting, but, I still play EVERY kit when a certain kit is needed. An engineer is useless in Infantry only servers, but mighty handy in Armored Fury maps, for example.

I agree, balanced overall.

I agree overall the kits are quite well balanced. I've found with enough practice in any one kit, you can find a very effective counter measure for just about any threat.

For example I had a great time yesterday as an Engi in a AA Vehicle on Zatar Wetlands ... I got my basic explosives badge (via AT mines), a veteran AA badge and the AA ribbon all in one round. Had a ball

I like the DAO but I am much more of a fan of the P90. P90 is obviously a hell of a lot better long range and that's how I get most of my kills. Also the high rate of fire makes up for it's bad damage when up close.

sniper is only bad if the person using the kit is only going for kills, but if they work better with the team then its a fairly useful kit
