Well, pure and simple. What maps should it run? This is a 32 man server, with 32 man maps. Currently it's on a full Vanilla rotation, repeating a few good maps:

Dalian
Mashtuur
Dragon
Sharqi
Daqing
Clean Sweep
Karkand
Oman
Jalalabad
FuShe
Kubra
Dalian
Zatar
Wake
Mashtuur
Clean Sweep
Jalalabad
Songhua
Karkand

But IDK, I don't think that would attract many players. I'd prefer a full rotation to be honest. However, if I did 24/7 it would either be Airmaps, AF, some map that's not city maps, or a small selection of maps. If I did that "small selection", I'd have my boat floated by Cleansweep and Dragon. Probably my most favorite air maps in the game.

edit: NO infantry only, 24/7 karkand, or 24/7 city maps

I'd love to find a good server that runs all Vanilla maps, playing each map twice so sides are switched totally kicks ass but I can't ever find it anywhere. Before my clan moved on to 2142 they used to do it but I haven't seen one since...

i think you should rotate a city map or 2 in there between some maps just so more people would want to join. but of course get all the good flying maps in.

The nice thing is, it's on a 64-bit OS and processor, supposedly makes for better hit detection.

I say have air maps rotate, they're just plain out fun. Plus, maps like Zatar and Songhua are so underplayed. Some SF maps on weekend would be fun too, mostly the underplayed maps though (Night Flight).

Throw in an AF map every so often, don't bother with Songhua and include Sharqui (No, I'm not illiterate or trying to piss you off, Sharqui is just an excellent map). Then as mentioned above, switch to SF on the weekends and there are less teenie boppers playing those maps and the weekends is when they all come out of the woodwork. Hope that helps.

New idea: Cleansweep + Dragon, or Cleansweep + "Map of the Week"

Possibly also switching between 32 and 64 man maps

Ok the ultimate rotation is 4 rounds of each of these maps, Devils Perch then Mass destruction then night flight then surge then leviathan best on earth

The full rotation sounds good, though personally I don't care for Kubra or Clean Sweep, or Wake. I like the large amount of PLA maps in there.

screw 32 player maps, rotate sharqi/wake/daqing, 64 player maps, 32 player slots

or just 2 rounds per map, full rotation, alphabetic order. and post the IP here if you do.

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I'll keep it how it is now. Full rotation. The logic behind the rotation is that the maps dont go from something slightly unpopular like Songhua to something uber unpopular like Zatar, but instead kind of "phase" people from one end of the spectrum (karkand) to the other (Zatar or clean sweep).
