Your air support has the USMC pinned down on the carrier and won't let up. For the rest of you, there's nothing much to do.
Why not grab a buggy and set a time from South tip to North tip? Beats sitting around bored stupid, waiting to defend a cap that won't happen.
My friend (not me, of course) did a 1m 50s from South tip to North tip. That should be pretty easy to beat because a tank got in his way.
I...ahem, my friend...strongly advises that you try this only when the other team is carrier-bound. It's not in the spirit of the game to be rallying about with your teammates spilling their virtual blood while you're off setting a personal best.
Oh and if you happen to squish a teammate, that's not bonus points, that's a black flag.
