Kay so, I have 2142 up and running on Vistaaaa but now the bitch is stuttering like hell, i get a good (better than normal) FPS for about 2 seconds before it just kinda stops and goes isnanely laggy for a second then goes back and does this constantly, any ideas why anyone?
if you have an nvidia card, more then likely drivers. besides that, possibly some background app?
and props to you if you got your sound working in vista. myself and the three other people i know who installed it cannot get our mic working. /reinstall xp.

how much ram u got? probaby cause vista uses soo much ram -_-
Whats you specs brutha.. You are probably on vista beta drivers which in my experience have been a little shaky at best.

I'm guessing it's just cos there's no drivers, I didn't install any because it worked fine without them and my sound worked fine automatically
