Well I've been playing sniper a lot lately and all will be going well until my shots decide not to hit. Literally.
Is this some kind of lag. I am NOT missing. Standing target right there, and my shot goes right through him.
I will post some videos of it later.
Its just starting to get REALLY annoying if it does happen. I would have killed this one guy 5 times over if my shots had decided to actually hit.
Now for you pricks that will come into this thread and call me a dumb ass and that I am just missing, I am not missing.
O yeah and for the record my computer is very high end and my Internet is fast.

its one of 2 things:

A) The shitty BF2 hitreg. there is a thread around somewhere to fix that. search for "Way to fix bad hitreg" or similar.

B) a similar glitch to the 'Phantom Rockets' glitch where SRAW/ERYX rockets go through cars/tanks. nothing can be done to fix that.

Well there is a form of bullet drop so if you're trying to snipe someone 1 KM away then you might miss. But point blank, something fishy is going on...

i think this is the set of commands that was posted in another thread:
Hitregisterbox
1: Go to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\settings
2: Open usersettings.con in notepad
3: Change the value of the line "SettingsManager.U32Set GSInterpolationTime" to 400.

(i just got it on a notepad file on my storage hardrive for some reason.)

it basically fixes hitbox lag, and no PB wont kick you.

I always thought that it could be your connection because if the enemy your trying to shoot has a lower ping than you then he could be ahead of you alittle. Just my opinion but who knows.

I have found that it's useless to shoot at enemies with an M-95 while standing up. What rifle do you use and how do you use it?
