More on this coming soon, but for the time being a couple things to know about the new server / community:
1) We are a community, not a clan. We do not expect any commitments from people, but to really enjoy this community you need to get a chance to get to know the other people. So, join Team Speak and post on the forums and you'll see what we mean by community.
2) It doesn't matter if you are an elite gamer or total noob. We put an emphasis on the community and having fun rather than on the game itself. Most of us are still together after BF2 because we have fun gaming and if it weren't 2142 we'd probably be playing something else together.
3) Maturity and internet gaming don't always go hand in hand, but we do our best to provide the right environment for gamers to have fun. Are you an attention starved, sharp tongued, 1337 gaming fiend? You're probably not in the right place then...sorry.
4) Everyone is welcome. We are not a closed "cliquish" community. Yes, some of us have known each other for quite some time, but all are welcome. If you want to take the time to get to know us better then you will be rewarded with a great gaming experience. If you just want to play the game on a server that emphasizes fun gaming then that's okay too.
5) Teamwork is highly encourage. Join squads, follow orders and communicate because this is where the real fun is. There are plenty of deathmatch type games out there if this doesn't interest you, but for us teamwork is the ultimate measure of a respected player.
6) Wear the [BF2S] tags if you want us to recognize you. This is a simple way to get our attention if you don't want to jump into Team Speak right away. But be careful because wearing the tags also means that your actions reflect upon us...so honor the BF2S creed.
