Actually support can do pretty good without unlocks. The basic guns are better than Ganz and Clark doesn't work in all situations so... And rest of the unlocks are nice add but they aren't really a must.

I noticed - I tried the HMG initially yesterday (seemed logical...), but couldn't hit a gnat on the end of my nose. Even with the gun facing me. >.>
The.. Bianchi. Not sure on the spelling, but yeah, that one. Quite, quite, quite evil... Indeed, so evil that I can actually kill people. Which tells you how evil it is. Not only kill them, but get 80 kills to 6 deaths yesterday and 17 to 2 today...
Which if you look at my BF2 stats seems fairly strange.
Stats for the PAC LMG, the...uhhh, Shuko, however, are bizarrely awful. Took me nearly half an hour to get just nine kills, or something like. I thought the specifications on the two weapons were relatively similar til' you got out to more extreme ranges?
(If I seem unduly pleased at actually having a positive KD ratio on a gun, 'scuse me. Never happened in BF2, though my BF2 days were largely racked with lag... That's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it.)
But I still want the heartbeat monitor. It's the only way I ever get to stab snipers in the feet.
