My friend has had a hard time getting his pistol badge in Normal BF2. I got mine by running around Karkland, but he hasnt had such luck, But he has noticed that in BF2:SF, espicallily the night maps its alot easyer for him to get his pistol kills, He was wonder if he got 5 pistol kills in BF2:SF would it give him his basic pistol badge. Anyone know if this is true?

I doubt it will work. BF2:SF has a seperate awards page, and the pistol badge isn't part of it.

According to the UBAR its, 5, i think i got got bumped down 2 when they made the ranks and awards more realisitic.

* IAR: 18 kills with a Pistol

yes you can. you can still earn BF2 awards while playing SF
