After this song, I think Peter Gabriel really lost it. One redeeming factor of this video are the midgets though.

Well...

Do you mean he "lost it" like his quality went down...
Or do you think he lost his mind literally...

In a sense... he did "lose" it with that song, His best stuff was earlier in his career. Songs like "Biko" and "Games without frontiers" were classic in the 80's. He was quite political back then... and the LSD likley help with his trippy music.

He was also lead singer of the band Genesis before that...

So anyways are you a fan? I remember that song from the 80's It was overplayed...I'd rather smoke a doobie and listen to "Biko".

I dont think he ever lost his mind tho... did he?

I have one album by him.. so I guess I'm a tiny fan...

I wouldn't say "He lost it" but that was certainly his best album (his forth, but I think they refer to it as "Security"). The ones after that have been very good, so it is only a matter of relativity. Still, "Family Snapshot" has been his best song of all time (from his third album but I think it is referred to as "Scratch"). He is probably one of the best song writers to have come out of the UK, but then I am very biassed.
