Everytime I join a server it fails and no message or anything comes up, it just fails to join. Ive patched it so im a little stuck on what to do.

i dunno man, i know two of my buddies are kinda havin the same problem...they just reinstalled it/just got it and installed it....and they are gettin this error message...its wierd....wish i could help bro.

Do you load the map or does it crash before it starts to load??
Take it you have had it working before?
What is you're connection speed? Are all the ports open on you're modem?
Make sure that there is no firewall conflicts! Check you're Anti-virus is up to date.
All medioca things but it may help..

You say it started when you installed the patch, so the long but sure way to fix it, is reinstalling SF. Get your patch from another server just in case.

Ok, cheers guys. It still doesnt work though so im giving up.
best bet is to do a fresh re install and re install the full patch. but checking all the little things first might be better.
Does single player work?
Had the same after the last patch, reinstalled vanilla and SF, than patched and know it works fine again...teddy..jimmy wrote:
