I think that EA should enable name changing once a month, or something of that sort, in their next update. If they allowed that, no one would be able to change their name a whole bunch, and if you wanted to change your name, --say, a month after you started-- and you were a staff seargeant (And you didn't want to restart your accound since you were at a reasonably high rank.) then, you would be allowed to change your name. What do you guys think?
I think that would be a chaos, cause people would confuse players.For example Blazin.uk, if he changes his name u can think another guy ist the new number one in the rank, or if u have a victim number one, and he changes his name u can think it is another player

Well... given the clan tag feature, I think all they really need to allow is for you to change your name to a subset of your old name, granted it's not already in use (IE, "Blazin.uk" could change to "Blazin" if he wanted... but really for people with "[ABC]Bob" wanting to change to "Bob").
Either way, unless they have some real morons working for them, anything important such as stat tracking, bans, etc tracks using the PID, not the name... so for instance, if you changed your name, it shouldn't let you back in to all the servers you've been banned from.
And what would really be so chaotic about that? Of course... you could always keep the old names in a list, so they can't be reused (I'd only do that for people who scored maybe more than 1,000 pts... and put anyone who changed before that on like a 3 month timer, then the name is released and can be reused again).

I admit there might be problems with names, but like Lazerus said, you would still have to keep your PID, ensuring that people could always identify you in a pinch.
Yeah I agree with you rotter. I don't really like using my name anymore with the numbers and its just gets boring. I always had something more creative in my mind. Make it possible EA!
