WoW is teh sukk. Ppl praise it like it was the first EVER mmo... so many came before it, great ones...DAoC (my personal fav.), EQ 1 and 2 (wasn't huge fans of either, but still great regardless), just to name a few. The only reason this game is so big is the background of it, with the RTS Warcraft. It's just like any other mmo...just more cartoony, and to me, that killed the game. Just my opinion tho...

Hello fellow gamers. I'm the brother that jack_d_reaper was talking about. I used to play BF2 when ever i got home or my brother got off the computer, but then I tried World of Warcraft. Before i played it I too believed it to be ridiculous and thought it to be a game that was played by people who just have too much time on their hands and like to waste money away. Then I played the game and found it to be "ok". I played on and the more i progressed, the more opportunities opened for me and the strategies that came along were unbelievable. The possibilities one has in that game is incredible. It has its draw backs, $15 dollars a month, i wasn't too happy about that, but what good game doesn't have its problems. BF2 has some issues of its own. When i play BF2 i get randomly disconnected, the load times are a pain, when minimizing it the game begins to mess up, and above all, there are the cheaters. The people who cheat in that game or anyother online game ruin it for everyone else that is trying to have fun and enjoy their free time from work or school. In wow, the load times are "comcastic", there are very few bugs in the game, minimizing and maximizing is fast and has no bad affects on the game or comp. Playing wise, both the games are a blast and i believe both of them have their ups and downs, but both are very good games. In comparison, i believe that Battlefield 2 is much better than world of warcraft. It's like battlefield 2 is a J-10, and wow is a JSF, the J-10 can dominate the JSF, but the JSF is a very powerful machine none the less.

It is the largest, however it isn't the only one. There are other Game such as Guild Wars, which is by far one of the greatest designed games released. There is Unlimited Replayabiltity, lots of things to do, a good community, and even better, and a system that releases a new "build" of the game EVERY DAY to fix bugs.
There is No Lag, hardly any loading time, and a hell of alot to do.
Theres PvP, PvE, Competitions and More.
The Characters, unlike WoW, are actually humans ( not little dwarves and other fantasy creatures), and the graphics on the game itself are spectacular. It doesn't require a good PC, or a mic.
There are several classes and choices to make, such as the skills you will use, or what profession you will choose. ( Warrior, Monk Ranger, Assasin, Mesmer, Elementalist, Ritualist, paragon and Dervish)
But the Best Thing About it is that there is No Monthly Fee.
The Game isn't as addicting either, there is definitely a point where you put the game down and say i've had enough of this today.
If your looking for a good MMORPG,or want to try one out, come join me, Sarrk, Cougar and Nija playing GW.

WoW has humans...... Other then for the monthly fee everything is the same. Yet even with the monthly fee more people play WoW.

nobody has touched on that? If you play a lot of hours of WoW, you are automatically capable of owning some people, even if you are completely incompetent. In BF2, no amount of time wins you matches, you just have to learn how to play. You pay a very cheap price for the game (which makes it look like a bargain). It's around $30 in New Zealand. But you then pay $60 for a six-month pre-paid registration, if you don't want to go credit card. I don't play it, and probably, make that NEAR CERTAINLY never play it.MagikTrik wrote:
