Bush has done hardly anything good for this country. Since in office he has created more than a 3 Trillion dollar deficit. He sent our soldiers into a fucking desert to shoot a bunch of worthless insurgents.

Having tried to stay abreast of the various signing items he sneaks around his own congress, the partisan bills, and the attempts to legislate hate and intolerance...I've not seen a single thing he's done to promote my happiness.  that includes the $400 check I received sometime after he took office.  It was about the stupidest thing to do even though he inherited a massive surplus.

But regardless...even if he did sign bills that actually benefitted me, my family, and my community...the gross incompetence and wreckless abandon of his job duties (protect constitution, be the presiding politician in world affairs, being an honest executive in chief, etc) FAR, FAR outweighs anything good he's done.  I liked when he put his arm around that guy in the rubble of the WTC.  But as soon as I figured out it was just a photo op like so many done so shamelessly...and that he failed completely to accomplish ANY of the promises made in that rubble..you get the picture.

I mentioned to my wife yesterday as we watched the end segment of "Flight 93" being showed on TV, "Here we are watching a movie about our greatest national tragedy of recent history..after these film makers and all the other film makers of the various other shameful '9/11' movies waited a few years before raking in the dough capitalizing on those events...and the guy that caused it all is sitting comfortably somewhere, protected by a huge population, probably watching these movies and laughing...and George Bush, the tough cowboy politician who is supposed to be the best president to handle terrorism, who's sworn countless times to bring the evildoers to justice...he's sitting in his oval office choking on pretzels doing NOTHING to get said evil doers.  "

Just thought that was interesting.
i was sure that we havent been attacked again since 9-11......did i miss something? did we get attacked again?
are you happy when you arent being blown up?? or are you happy when you are being blown up?
well promoting your happiness might have something to do with national security......after all happiness doesnt mean shit if your on fire or exploding or any manner of death.....
but hey in make believe world we can kiss everyones ass and it will all be OK......hell if it were up to john kerry we would be friends with those fucking animals....personally im glad to have people in this country that will step up for what is right, not sit around and make attacks because theyre butt hurt over an election.
i respect every single person that goes to fight for this country....unfortunatly you see them as "bad people".......lol so how do you label terrorists? "really bad"? or are they the good ones?
the way you spout you would think that you cant wait to see patriots from this country die.
unfortunatly the troops cant choose who they provide protection for. so while you sit and run your mouth in your nice warm house in your nice big state in your nice big country with all those great freedoms.....just remember that it is the people that you bash that protect those freedoms you hold so dear.

Just thought that was interesting.

"The idea of building up of U.S. Navy forces has been discussed over some time and it's unclear when a decision will be made, the defense official said.

The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower is already in the region. It left the United States in late September with four other Norfolk-based ships and submarines carrying 6,500 sailors.

The flotilla headed to the Mediterranean Sea and eventually went to relieve the Norfolk-based aircraft carrier USS Enterprise strike group, which was in the region supporting operations in Iraq and        Afghanistan.

Also, the U.S. in late October led a naval training exercise aimed at blocking smuggling of nuclear weapons in the Persian Gulf.

The six-nation maneuvers off the coast of Iran were the first of their kind since North Korea's Oct. 9 nuclear test and U.N. sanctions that called on the international community to conduct searches at sea to ensure the reclusive communist nation is not secretly expanding its nuclear program.

We're already staged for war with Iran. Our troops are surrounding them. We could and would shift our troops over to Iran if need be. The war would be an air war so ground troops wouldn't need to come into play for a few months at least. I actually think Iran has been our plan this whole time and Iraq, Afghanistan, were just a distraction/decoy.

And chef, quit being a pansy, these guys want you dead just as much as me. hehe pun intended.

9/11 sounded rather like a Tom Clancy novel. I'm beginning to think that he isn't actually a author, but a terrorist mastermind!

Wrong.  Usmarine hates all politicians and thinks Bush is a dumb ass, Clinton also.  Usmarine also thinks we should pull out of Iraq.  Usmarine also thinks we should let Europe and Asia deal with Iran.

Your pattern failed.

lol, good reasoning.   how many us soldiers have died since 9/11?  we made their job easy.  you have no idea how bad they're laughing.  we've shredded our constitution, made a police state out of ourselves, plummeted ourselves into horrendous debt, made more enemies and inspired more militants than ever before.  Do i feel safe?  hell no.  I did feel safe on 9/10/01.  hell, i felt safe until 2003..and as the years have gone on, that safety has gone away.

WTC attack in '93....WTC destruction in 2001.  is it reasonable to think that since the precedent for homeland attacks of 8 years that it would continue thus?  do you know of any real attacks (not the Rovian created "threats" that popped up every time there was bad press against the white house) that were stopped that were on the scale of 9/11 or even close to it?  please tell me how the absense of attacks has ANYTHING to do with Bush.  I'll tell you what...go to the Port of Oakland in Alameda, California.  Show me how anything Bush has done has made those cargo containers less likely to be carrying a WMD.

The problem is, we are afraid to die, they aren't.  Besides, what does that have to do with the successful campaign of OBL which is still continuing to go in his favor.  I don't think he could have ever imagined a greater success than what is happening to this country now.  9/11 was nothing compared to the carnage he's caused to happen here, in Iraq...  I imagine he'll pass out if we attack Iran and convince ourselves that "we're winning!" as we run out of soldiers because they're being handed their asses by an actual military presence who've waited 27 years for this.  Sure we'll make pock marks all over a bunch of their cities, disrupt their electricity, bomb some schools we thought were barracks, etc, etc...but in the end...we'll have made Iraq look like a pin prick..and OBL will...die of laughter!  ...aha!  i see the genius of it all now!  that was Bush's plan all along to get OBL...make him laugh to death!!!

If you think the war in Iraq is bad, Iran will be tens times worse.

I think they've said the only realistic thing we can do at this point in time militarily is to use air raids against the nuke-facilities.......

Why do we (the US and its European allies) feel the need to stop them from building a legitimate energy infrastructure?  I still don't get how the US and other nuclear powers feel the need to tell the world who can have nuclear power and who can't.

Here's an idea - Why not formally have our Energy "Czar" meet with their Energy Minister and discuss ways on which the US can help them develop nuclear capabilities for civilian power purposes?  I am sure it will cost us (the taxpayers) billions of dollars less than keeping another carrier group in the Persian Gulf.  Oh, and it would help US-Iran foreign relations as well.

Clearly the United States Government and those who run it are trying to punish the Iranian Government for refusing to back the US dollar with oil.  A childish reaction at best.

I would say that the problem is that the entire world must know who has nuclear capabilities and it's my understanding that Iran would NOT let the inspectors in to verify that the uranium is going to "good" use, and not being used for nuclear weapons. And with their blatent threats towards the US and that fucked up spot on the map called Isreal, it would be best if they just didn't have those kinds of toys to play with.

I am smart enough to know (not in hindsight because i felt this way in 2002) that a ground invasion was not smart..especially with the small number of people sent to afghanistan.  It's no wonder the Taliban are pretty much in control in many cities.

Word.  Pakistan is easily as reckless and dangerous as Iran is (potentially).  And pakistan's government can be taken over easily whereas Iran's is solid.  Musharraf is not well-loved..and he hosts probably the most vile of terrorists there are who would love to run his government for him and use those nukes.

I'm more afraid of nukes from pakistan than i am of iran.  it would be nice if our leaders started making friends with both people of both countries because there's NOTHING we can do to stop it..and you're right, it is hypocritical to say someone can't have nuclear energy.  and as a historic perspective, we were in the process of selling the Shah (Iran's pre-revolution leader) cold-water reactors for energy..just like clinton was doing in n korea in the early 90's.

You sure have faith in your country and its army.  Osama's campaign?  What is he doing now?  Laughing?  I doubt it.  I think he's either dead or hiding under some rock.  When was the last time he's done anything major to the US?  How many other false warnings had he issued since 911?

Carnage in Iraq?  ITS A FRIGGIN WAR.  What the hell do you think happens in war zones?  Go watch some more CNN.  You have ignored the stories of schools built, women voting and children being vaccinated against diseases.  I can't fathom how you don't support removing an evil dictator.  You bitch about a few bad apples in the military teasing kids with water bottles.  You bitch about tankers punishing looters.  When did you bitch about Saddam raping and pillaging his own country?  Where was your loud mouth then?

Your blind hatred of the US military and the President are astounding.  All that smog on the left coast has gotten to your brain.
