After playing this game (German version with an English string table patch) for a couple weeks now, and after seeing 2 patches, I can honestly say this game sucks. I was so excited to play it, but it has been one big disappointment. For those of you who want to buy it when it gets released in the USA, wait for a demo. I can see why they do not have a demo right now.

Score : 3 out of 10

This game has potential, but it needs some real help.

I really do not want to list everything I think is wrong, but let me put it this way.......

When I played the BF2 demo, I said buy buy buy. If I played the ARMA demo (if there was one) I would not have bought it.

I really do not want to list everything I think is wrong, but let me put it this way.......

When I played the BF2 demo, I said buy buy buy. If I played the ARMA demo (if there was one) I would not have bought it.

That works. Same for the 2142 demo with me, I wouldn't have gotten it if someone didn't get it for me. It wasn't like the game was bad, it just wasn't that good.

Honestly, this game could be amazing, I mean better than BF2. All the potential is there, but I am affraid Bohemia is not up to the task.

Maybe customer support will be better than EA's...decent patches can help a game a lot.

Agreed that the game has potential, but I think it is a good game. It deffnitly needs some work though. They should have put a little bit more effort into the AI and the little things like reload animations. The concept is good, but the game needs work.

Oh by the way, Enemy in sight is going to be out soon. Its made by the same guys who developed Vietcong, and that game was great. lets wait and see.

Sounds right. I just saw a server called "US training server" and it was password protected. Never saw that one before.
