Currently my games on 1.06. I downloaded the 1.10 patch (twice). It keeps saying I have a newer version installed.
What should I do to sort it.?

Did you download from the same source twice? You sure it's not the 1.01 patch you downloaded?

If you've installed 1.1 beta before, use regedit an change key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2142\Version" value to 1.06 from 1.10.

Both downloads were from different locations. 1st was from EA downloader. 2nd was from File Front. Both of them were 100% the latest patch.
I installed the beta, but I made a copy of the origanal installation. So this shouldnt have been a problem.

yeah but you didnt make a backup of your registry. I think Grmbl i suggesting to change the version in the registry.
Not to worry all is fixed now, all down to a simple reinstall.
