the whole computer with everything i need+the 19 inch viewsonic is 1,300

My other compotuer right now if basically the same computer with a differentcase,harddrive and video card which is an ancient x600 256mb and it runs every game on high no lag

Bear in mind that Pent D's and the 7900 will run hot ...so is it wise putting them on a micro atx board and in a small case...think cooling

I got a 8 fan and it comes with a 12 fan in the back, its also going to be on a desk.
theres als oa little 4 fan on the side and im going to go get another one.

just turn aa off or somthing you only need 1gb of ram the faster the better
2GB helps, but 1GB is not that detrimental to you're performance. Just runs like a turd after it loads the game, dumping all the Verified Data crap and putting the game back in.B00MH3ADSH0T wrote:

I have a E6300 right next to me with 1GB and a 7600GT. At all Highs, with 2x AA @ 1024x768 it got 60FPS.
Any higher res and the AA is too much for 1GB.

Wait until the 40% price breaks on the new Intel E series processors. This should happen before vista launches. You should also get 2GB of memory as Vista idles at 750mb, same as Rainbow Six: Vegas.
You'll also need to get a mobo with socket LGA 775.
When buying a computer always get the mobo that will not be socket-outdated in 1 month. Seriously. It means more problems when you try to upgrade a simple part in the future, getting a cheap E6200 now and getting the then cheap Extreme Edition 965 will be the wiser course.
