Today, friday december 22th, 15.33, my beautiful little daughter was born. My wife called me on work, completley calm and said; "Oh well, do you want to meet me at the hospital? Your daughter is about to enter this world." So not so calm as my wife I started to run around and scream out what was happening. When I arived at the hospital, she was already in the shower with 3 cm opening. This is the wildest thing I have ever seen! I got a few warnings that I shouldn't watch the baby come out ('cause it could ruin sex indefinitly) but I was LUCKY enough to watch the whole thing. She couldn't lay on her back, so she was on the side. And me, rubbing like a maniac, had a front row seat. The little one popped out and started to scream imidiatley, which was one of my biggest fear.
She's a perfectly healthy little girl, long blond hair (we can actually make a topsy tail!!!), 3764 grams (haven't got a clue in lbs...) 51 cm long and very cute. It's the smallest thing I've ever hold in my hands. Started to cry at the same time she was in my arms.
For you guys who have a pregneant wife, I just say: Even if your girl has alot of pain like mine, it's all worth it when it's over. Of course she's doing all the work, but it's not easy to see someone you love have those kind of pain. As soon as that little heartbreaker pops out, everything is "back to normal". Exept that little, special person.
For you who have kids you know what I'm talking about. You can try forever and ever, but it's really hard to explain what the hell just happend.
But now, I must get back to the hospital. Someone have to feed the cats...
Text you later!
