I start bf2 as normal, it crashes to desktop before it even reaches the ea/dice bit.

I have tried a couple of other games, all working fine.

I need help from you guys, i have tried different drivers for the card, i have also uninstalled bf2 and reinstalled it and still it does'nt work

HELP!

Did you use Driver cleaner? in between Driver swaps.
Had the same isseu's with a 8800 GTX.
I formatted and went for 97.44,  and now it runs fine.

This should do it, happened to me recently with 2142 changed vid cards and had to format because it was totally screwed up.

Formatted? Did you re format your harddrive ffs.

I will run driver cleaner then, btw i uninstalled before the installation of the new ones.

i Did because nothing else would fix it, BTW only formatted drive with Widows on it. Everything else is on other drives.

I had a shit load of stuffed installed and what not, but its worth doing trust me.

Right, i just uninstalled the display drivers, then ran driver cleaner and reinstalled the new drivers and still no joy.

I don't know what to try next, i want to avoid installing windows and formatting the hard drive.

What do you "clean" i cleaned the "nvidia" one, or should i try the nforce ones aswell?

I just uninstalled the nforce drivers too, then reinstalled them and it still doesn't work!
