I have a  quick question. I have an ipod with about 11 gigs of music. I just got a brand new computer, and im wondering how do i transfer all my music to my new computer. I know it can be done by going into some folder and copying all the files. Im just not sure which ones. Ps, without using copypod.
Thanks

There's a program called Ephpod that I've found to be useful.
http://www.ephpod.com/

Now of course you're not supposed to use this to copy songs off illegally...

just copy the contents of you music folder on to a external hard drive, or set the old drive a slave on the new comp, or burn the contents of the folder to cds or dvds

Get anapod explorer. It's by far the easiest way. Just drag and drop on and off just like you do within windows.

There's a handly little gadget called "Hitch" by Sima that will do what you need...it lets you transfer from any USB device to an iPod (also can be done on the go w/out a computer).  Also charges on the go....they have a website at "gethitch".  Good luck...

If you dont want to download hack programs, the easiest way is with two computers...
When a comp has iTunes it disables your ability to copy files (in this case music) from the Ipod to your computer. So the only way to do it is when your computer doesnt know what you have plugged in and it thinks you pretty much just have a flash drive plugged in.

1. Get on a computer without iTunes
2. Go to the hidden files
3. Drag the hidden music folder onto desktop
4. Copy onto disk of some sort and then rip it onto your normal computer that has iTunes
5. Add the music to your library and your done.

PM me if you have any questions with my method. (I have done this 3 times with success)
