Aside from that, if you know you are really good at losing cd-keys then how about saving the keys to your video games inside of a text file on your computer. Or even just putting the cdkeys all in a shoebox and keeping that shoebox near your desk. Really it just comes down to responsibility though, if you want to play this game you might need that cdkey at some point in the future, so be more responsible and take care of it.SultrySalesman wrote:

No, I'm sure there is some sort of authentication/cd key thing involved with special forces when you use the EA Downloader, however YOU the user never have to bother with any cd keys.rEdTe@M wrote:

What Sultry is saying is to BUY the game through the EA Downloader. This means you enter your credit card info on EA's website, they charge you $30, and you download the game from them. No CD is required and you install the game and enjoy.
I did this without a problem and Sultry is correct, there is no CD key required. However, I suspect that you would not have a problem buying the game normally either. The SF box from the store probably comes with it's own CD key for installation and you will be fine.
However, you may wish to contact EA regarding a replacement CD key as you will not be able to reinstall the original game if you ever need to without that CD key.
^^
