k i need u guys, help here in the UK, im on AOL at the moment and have decided to change because it basically a big leach sucking away my PC and its power i want to move to a better ISP.

I was looking at tiscali but the reviews for it are really, really bad

Preferably i want the below features:

2Mbps + connection
Unlimited Usage
Must be compatible with wireless router and xbox 360 through that router
Must come with several email accounts with more than 1mb of space
Must allow change through a mac code as i have just requested mine through aol
Good customer support (preferably no foreign call centres)
No software such as aol which leaches away at ur PC

and no Cable

You people here in the forums know what ur on a bout and i hope u can help me, any reviews and such would help.

Im sorry moderators if this type of post has been made before, but none which i search exactly help in my selection of an ISP. So if i have placed in the wrong place or you deem this post rubbish delete it or move it please.

I use AOL but do not have any of the software installed, I find it far better, ie no memory wastage or bandwidth limitations. If you would like the details for PPPoE set up of AOL, IM me and I'll let you know.

It saves hassle, and you never need to use that shitty program ever again!

Im with sky, got skymax package.

Works great, i really dont use the email accounts and all the things they throw in.

I dont have any software installed, so no probs at all.

16mbps connection.

The only drawback is that you need to be a sky customer.

Why do an ISP e-mail?  I can send you an invitation to use Gmail if you want. They give you 2.5GB of storage (and counting) for free.

Whatever you do STAY CLEAR of VIRGIN.NET!!!!

I can't stress that enough. During peak hours it is unusable. 8MB service is a joke I only went with them because it was a "no 12 month contract obligation" as I was waiting for sky to activate broadband in my area. Now they want £50 to disconnect me within the first 12 months. I don't know about you but 50 quid's quite an obligation to me.  >
