Nope, all our mice have been neutered.

CD was invented in the 80s, if you're still using that shit, ditch the parachute pants and Walkman and get yourself a new computer.

Well, for anyone who has Battlefield 2142 you should know by now that it's a DVD. Why??? This is because DVD's have more space on them and EA Games was able to fit all the stuff into one disc instead of three like for Battlefield 2, but is this really worth it? Causing people to go out and buy DVD drives?? Let's hear your thoughts. Oh and also: will a DVD be damaged if put into a CD drive?
Buy a DVD Drive? If you need to buy a DVD drive then your shitty ass PC won't be able to handle BF2142. Quit whining. DVD is the wave of the future (Blu-Ray/HD-DVD next) gonna whine then too?

1) 90% of all computers now come with a DVD drive
2) DVD = Easy, efficient and simple
3) Do you wanna stand there staring at your screen to tell you when to put in disc 2?
Didnt think so

Dude, Blu-ray is nearly out and you still don't have a DVD drive? I know you may not be one of those people who upgrade their computers at the slightest chance, but really, thats essential in this day and age O.o

Just think of it as an upgrade you need to get anyway.....

I got BF2 on CD, but when I bought the SF booster pack in was on a DVD so I had to get a DVD drive. Meh, it was about time anyway. Of course my PC is still only barely able to cope with BF2, but it's not like I won't be able to use the DVD drive if I upgrade to a new PC.

I got the balls to use it. :3 But seriously if you gonna get a ball less mouse you need to get a damn good one the others are just so bad, like they freak out when you move it a little and the mouse fly all over the screen within a half of second. Don't want that to happen in a game when trying to snipe. A Ball mouse works fine for a damn long time to.

This topic has come to it's ending.
DVD is a logical choice made by game developers because they can fit more content onto less carriers.
