I'm not big fan either way, but that fact sheet is dated. Should get a comparison of the latest of both.
edit: i see it mentions them in some cases.

Well thats obviously bias. And written by an Opera fanboy.
Firefox is cool, and you know it.

Regardless of what that site says, I'd say they were hired by M$ to discredit the competition.
You should ALWAYS believe EVERYTHING you read on the internet. Firefox FTW!!!
QFT. I don't know why people have to be so confrontational about it (read: it's a crap article), it's just personal preference. Personally I don't give a fuck about market shares or wheter it's actually faster. I just like the feel of firefox, and dislike the feel of IE. I've tried I.E. 7 and it's terrible. Microsoft even tries to make you pay 20 usd or so for extensions!james@alienware wrote:

At least he cites a number of rather credible sources
that's true. When I read it first, I didn't bother clicking the source links. But the two that I clicked just now bothh pointed to very dubious sources, Wikipedia (the article is locked because its 'balance is disputed') and a page called Michael's Blog. I don't think Michael is a reliable source to cite...Coolbeano wrote:

i just like the feel of FF2..you can change skins and install extensions...
i just prefer FF2 to IE7..
i just prefer FF2 to IE7..
i swaped over to Firefox cause a trojan IE let though deleted the address bar
Firefox ftw
Firefox ftw
"I prefer to use more....reliable sources, like word of mouth!"
(if anyone can tell where I got that from.....then they are amazing).

It's a pointless argument, I don't care if my page loads .1 second slower in Firefox (I still think it's faster).
What I care about is the ability I have with Firefox to use all the various ad-ons and extensions, things that make browsing the internet far more enjoyable.
Also once you start messing around with different themes FF looks nicer.
Still, use whatever the hell you want to use.

holy shite....I just got opera to do a comparison against firefox. Opera looks cleaner and loads faster
I think I might switch over to firefox...is it actually faster? What do you guys think??
EDIT: Has anyone used Opera? Is it any good?

the fact that that website has ads for IE 7 while your reading leads me to question them further...
just used it....I vastly prefer Firefox over it. The latest version of firefox has a built in spell check. So if I were to type in "jisdbn" It gets a red underline that only I can see and none of you can....very usefulالتعريفات wrote:

You sure you just didn't accidentally remove it yourself? You know that's possible, right?Fenix14 wrote:

Firefox ftw
Google Adsense, random keyword searches. For me it's displaying Firefox ads, and "Religion is Fantasy".Fenix14 wrote:

You know, I can't any single 100% of the time.
You made absolutely no sense whatsoever (read: WTF?)jsnipy wrote:

firefox owned,
I heard firefox gives you hairy palms and makes you go blind. Does anyone really have less than 64mb of ram?

Opera is far better than both. It comes with all the plugins however this means it takes up far more disk space, and tbh I dont care for a few extra seconds.
You are correct ... it did not ... (thinking/typing) out of sink ...Coolbeano wrote:

Opera lasted all of a week on here, I may give it another go in a while but it sucked badly this time for me.
crap the way it imports favourates, crap the way it loads the last page you were looking at last.
Just didnt like the feel of it at all, a browser should be simple, Opera is a pain in the arse.
IE7 is bloody horrible but I still use it for some things....I just keep ad-aware, fw and antivirus running because IE is so insecure
