I learned from watching "Different Strokes" and "The Jeffersons" that you should accept other races and laugh at their stereotypical behavior along with the dubbed in audience laughter.

I don't remember any '70s-'80s shows about a black guy screwing a white chick though, just white families adopting poor ghetto blacks.  So in short, Hollywood hasn't taught me what I think about Interracial dating yet.

Well lets see, my friends whos a girl was going out with a black guy(shes white), and her aunt, whos black, said she shouldnt go out with a black guy because its against the bible, I find that allittle ironic but what ever haha.

I personally do not see anything wrong with it.  I have heard of stories where the children of interracial couples have more racial based issues, ie both races rejecting them.

You can't fault someone for having their own opinion.  If anyone has seen the thread I made earlier this month entitled "Are you a mother or father" then you would see that my kids are mixed...so obviously, I don't have any issues with it.  I think more people care about the actual person instead of their skin color.  At least, that is my take on things.

Some people are more comfortable with, and around their own "kind." Others prefer to preserve their roots.

A Polish family wanting their children to marry other Poles, as opposed to a German, or Brit, etc. doesn't make them Nationalists. Same concept applies to race.

If you want to preserve your roots, or expand them, knock yourself out. It has very little, if any, effect on me.
