Well I am a noob right now, as we all were at one time. But I'm waiting until this 'noobfest' dies down. I died three times in a row because I spawned in a heli and the noob pilot flew it into a tree, a titan, and the ground. I'm tired of it.

And I've always had trouble aiming, but even more with 2142. I think the sensitivity of my mouse movement is too high, I need to lower it.

Maps to look for / avoid?

Titan is good for high points.

Play Suez Canal, Camp Gibraltar, Cerbre Landing, Shuhia Taiba, Minsk, Belgrade and Tunis Harbor.

Avoid Fall of Berlin and Verdun

Best classes?

Depends. Support and Assault are a powerful pair, Recon once you get the Lambert, and Neer when you get the Pilum.

I would say go support first since its the easiest to get points with.

Best / Worst Weapons?

Krylov, Voss, Baur, Scar, SMG, Stock LMG's, Clark, RPK-Rockets, Lambert, Stock Snipers, Pilum

Avoid the SAAW, Ganz, Zellar(its alright, but not worth it)

Good first unlocks?

Frag nades and the sprint unlocks before ANYTHING else. Makes you much more versitile as a soldier. Once you have those, work your way up the Lambert Tree, then the Pilum Tree, then The Medic(Voss) tree. That will make you a much more powerful player in all your classes.

Any general tips appreciated!

Titan Defense is an excellent way to earn points, but after a while it will distinguish you as a noob and you'll start to accumlate losses.

You can prone to avoid claymores.

Zellar can blow up explosives

Walkers can crouch by pressing z or x, i forget

walkers can sprint by holding shift and it's infinite

going crouch is more effective than going prone as your gun stabalizes faster, ESPECIALLY FOR SUPPORT.

Support's guns get more accurate the longer you hold down the fire button. (Actually all weapons do this, but support is most noticeable)

You can get bronze, silver and gold knife badges really quickly and they are worth a TON of points(total of 1540 points).

Be Squad Leader and give out orders with the "T" buttom while aiming at the flags. You'll get more points by doing that. Plus playing on Titan mode will give you more points than playing on Conquest even if you have a good round.
Sprint is permanent and I think it's a great choice, if you are going to spend time running between flags and keep running away it's hella of lot better to have it. I got it pretty early to. Also you don't need to unlock the Support Machinegun, it might not just be worth it. Get the other first.

Also those unlocks that have a square that's like 2x small than the rest are permanent and will always be applied to your soldier at spawn. This is the sprint upgrade, grenade upgrade, upgraded sprint, 1+ ammo to pistol and Rifle and the 1+ Grenade.

Those are permanent but with the ammo clip and grenades it will change if you switch kit by picking it up.

No that's where you are wrong only support get better aim you more you shoot the other doesn't, the other weapons get worse. Burst shot is the way to kill people.

you won't be able to keep up with them unless you're using it.

it's all voss/baur 24/7/365.

Also the second upgrades for each class "path" (ie. the ammo/medic hubs, sniper zoom scope, engy spanner, and netbat upgrades are "passive". They'll replace the stock equipment and will never have to be selected in the customization screen.
