This new year I am going to try to dress better. As of now, I dress like a complete slouch. T-shirt and jeans or t-shirt and shorts. My idea of dressing up is a button up shirt and jeans, I wear stuff like that to weddings, funerals, whatever.

The point I'm trying to make is that I have no idea what is fashionable or what even looks good and I need you, BF2s, to help dress me. I don't have a whole lot of money to spend though. Everything I see that people recommend for me seems to only work for skinny guys and I'm not skinny, but I'm not fat either. I'm about 5'7'' and I weigh about 155 lbs. If you need me to provide a picture I can.

So, please guys, help a brother out with his new year's resolution. I know somebody on here's fashionably, right?

Get a couple button up, short sleaved shirts like these. Chicks love them

I personally like dark shirts. They go with anything.

I wear medium t-shirts (in US I don't know if the sizes are different in other countries), I don't know any measurments or anything because I only really wear t-shirts, also I'm 19.

Buy the Independent Adolescent Sweater . It is pretty cold and it looks dumb running around in summer clothes, when it is winter.

Buy some medium blue jeans.

Then some nike sneakers.

Perfect.

What about your hair.

There those sites should help you out if you want to look nice for chicks, and since you are 19 you can pull of the clothes for another couple years but when you hit about 25 its no longer fashionable to wear that sorta stuff. Then you will move on to:

Banana Republic
Express

Just get some nice jeans, and some polos. Get a t-shirt that will match a button up shirt, and leave the button up shirt unbuttoned with the matching t-shirt underneath it.

Also if you planning on going to weddings or whatever, then it is suit-time. Buy a black suit with pinstribes.
That is classy. Then some black pants and shoes.

You CAN get that for 300$

That is good. It is kind of skater-laidback thing. Looks good.

Also when it is winter it is good to wear some dark, and when it is summer wear something a bit brigther.

Oh, oh, OOh. I am feeling like them from " a queer eye for the straight guy" nnnnnoooooooooooooooooooo.

Thanks guys. I really like Fredrik and Kamikaze's suggestions. And they're not too expensive.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. All you guys rock.

The trouble is, you are so used to wearing slouchy clothes, you'll slip right back into the habit.

They say you need to do something for 21 days for it to become a habit. You best chance of sticking with it is to go to the local retirment village and get to know lots of the residents. That way you'll get to go to lots of funerals and that way you'll get used to wearing good clothes.

I don't understand why you'd want to dress nice. I just dress comfortably and nobody seems to mind. Are you calling me a slouch for not wearing dress shirts?

The thing I hate most is when people where a button shirt with a t-shirt underneath it. I always make fun of them and they just say something like "Hey, I'm comfortable." And I just say, "Yeah, but you'd be even more comfortable if you just took one of those shirts off...." And they always just get mad and say "Whatever...."

Hit Express. Their jeans are the best around and they're actually stylish. ~$60ish per pair. They also have some nice shirts, but being a guy, I also stick to t-shirts.
