I've been kinda wanting a new game lately, but am not really sure what to get. I have 2142 and never play it, and CS:S and CS 1.6, but can't sit down and play them for hours, they get boring. From those who have played it, would you recommend CoH? Any other game suggestions would also be welcome.
Yes. Very fun. Well, singleplayer is.
Multiplayer is hard to connect to game. I enjoy the campaign missions more.

CoH is worth buying. I enjoy it. If you don't like RTS your wasting your time though. Its one HEAVY RTS.
i have coh and its a good game fun online havny played single player but if u like rts games you will probaly like it i don't play it that much myself but my m8s love it
^ cod3 is pretty good, but my triggers on my xbox controller dont work so i cant play till i get a new one

lol yeah. unless you play like 6v6 on multiplayer and you have a good team, it's not that fun. I can't connect to half the matches anyways.
They're fixing those issues in the new patch and resetting everyone's stats because of stat recording problems.. Relic actually fixes the problems..ryan_14 wrote:

CoH is a great LAN game when you have a bunch of people to play it with in the same room. I'm not good enough at RTS games to play it online, but I enjoy playing through the campaigns with everyone else here (chuy, afrojap, voodoochild, and shrtcww).
Single Player is amazing as all of the missions are Actual missions carried out during the course of the war. The action gets intense and is quite realistic.

That's what I heard. I'm relatively new to RTS because I usually play FPS or racing games. C&C Generals was my choice to ease into a new genre.Mason4Assassin444 wrote:

I hate RTS' but love this game..
I have played AOE II and III in the past, and enjoyed them but generally now enjoy FPS more. It looked to me like CoH was a marriage of the two genres though after playing the demo, there isn't too much of an economics side to it as just take the point so you can get more stuff.
coh owns. hard.
lots of things in coh will make sense to people who are used to playing FPS games. use cover, flanking, taking rear shots at tanks, etc.
if you play online, you WILL get owned. but that's true of any game, and if you keep at it you will start owning people back.
between this and supreme commander, there's never been a better time to start playing RTS.

CoH = best RTS I've ever owned.

Did you know that there's a Dawn of War sequel scheduled for next year that uses an upgraded version of the Company of Heroes engine? I can't wait!
Good gameplay and the grpahics are amazing, however it gets old very quickly
