  • FFS!!! Help me this is driving me nuts?! wtf is wrong with firefox

every time I click on a link or bookmark it opens up an entire new window and it just randomly started doing this?  what's wrong and how do i fix it.. it's doing it with internet explorer too.. is it a virus?

EDIT: wtf it just stopped...? has this happened to anyone before. that was really weird

Tools > Options > Tabs, For "New pages should open in:" select Tabs instead of windows. Firefox was recently updated & your settings might have been wiped or sumthin. If that's not it then I dunno...

*Edit:* I swear that edit wasn't there a second ago but it says you did it like 30 minutes ago...

I've had this happen before. Smash the ctrl and alt keys back and forth a few times -- once in a while they get stuck down, but not actually depressed. It's weird.

I actually think that's what I did.. Thanks for the help
