I know so many people dread going into one, especially on big servers, but if you have a decent rig it can be crazy fun. Aint nothing like 40 guys fighting it out in such a small area. A billion tracer rounds flying about, guys throwing down med kits & ammo kits like mad....massive nade spamming. But seems as if these massive battles arent very common, due to so many peoples PC's being a bit to weak to handle the intense action in the titan, but once in a while you get a server where everyone just raids the titan....its like a massive assault...every transports full to the brim transporting guys onto the titan...40 guys rush the entrance only to be met by crazy resistance....then its a insane fight to destroy the control panels.

I really wont be playing Conquest for a while, Titan mode is just to much fun.

I never play conquest when I play bF2142 its juct boring... If I want to play conquest I load up good old bf2.

yeha, usually it's my first pioriyt to try to get onto that damn titan. and then it's resistance as you try to drop the consoles, then it's resistance in the core, then it'sboht teams running like hell to get off the thing whne it's blown, and using the opportunity to get s few more kills..........

I personally hate Titan mode - it absolutely blows

And yes, i do have a decent enough computer to handle it, i just hate that style of gameplay, pure spammage

And where did you see this? I am usually surrounded by assault and support, but never get healed/re-armed, no matter how many times I ask.

Try it some time, i teamed up with this guy i was recon and he was support, i blew all teh consoles while he ressuplied me, and TALK ABOUT TEAMWORK, i got teh Meritous Service Ribbon with 1 person in my squad and he was a gunner gold! we had no problems, i got the problemsolver pin, and i destroyed teh core. And i also got Explosives gallantry Basic and Veteran in 1 round with defending the corridor, talk about noobs, tehy dont give up, they peek their head in thiking they can shoot and i go DEET and they blow relativly-high.

my GFX card + ram could eat the titan alive, but my CPU just has a little heart attack, dies, gives me 15 FPS.

Also, when im not laggin client side, i find that the server gets lots of lag....As in, you will be here, and then you will jerk back a bit, then forward again ect ect. Like you do when playing with 1000 ping.

Like I said, it really depends on who the players are in the server.
Any decent minded player will resupply & heal other team mates. But I know what you mean. I always see the guy who refuses to give ammo, then you TK him out of frustration.

TITAN is great but CONQUEST is greater, i love it when i am on a 32 man server playing on a 64 man map, the game goes on forever and ever and you have to really battle hard for the win, defending then attacking, of course it all depends on great team play, and having a top commander, yesterday i played on Suez Canal the game went on for almost 2 and a half hours its rocked

I like the titan mode, like the first poster said u got 2 have the machine for it i dont 32 player fine but it´s a little bit jerky.Over 32 player and every body is doing the woonwalk me included.

LOL. And your saying Conquest isn't? People just live in walkers, or tanks, or APCs all round... Least with Titan mode there is a lot more diversity. Unless of course you get absolutely worked and can't hack it.

just a bit of advice, if u ever have performance problems on the titan, try upgrading to the core 2 duo processor, worked for me...i have a kickass radeon x1900xt and i was getting 20-30 fps on titan, sometimes 40, now i maintain 70+ all around

I "did" adapt I can kill people effectively using the RDX/Claymore NOOB COMBO, or the support kit using my shotty, but I rather have a nice firefight using guns other than getting killed by a claymore everywhere I walk. Or having to deal with 4-5 sentry guns taking out a whole squad, or RDX spammers on FF off servers.

Clays are easy to spot, even easier to avoid. Go prone or Crouch and move on by. Drones are easily destroyed by about 3 shots of the Voss for example.

Guess what? When your defending...The goal is to defend. Clays and Sentries do the job. If people are too stupid to avoid them, then the better for the defenders. Sure some people camp on ammo boxes and huck 100 nades in a row...but I've seen that in conquest too.

What about stats? I'm not a nerd. I could care less about them.

BF2S Forums Titan battles are the best...if your PC can handle it.
