Just curious if anyone knows much about Outlook Express because I'm having a slight problem and have spent nearly and hour trying to fix it with no luck...

I receive emails just fine. But when I receive emails with attachments on them I am unable to open or download the attachments. When I click the 'paperclip' icon to open the attachments they are in there, but the click box for them is faded, indicating that it can't be clicked on. Any ideas at all?

*.dbx files have a size limit that once hit, can not longer be opened. Microsoft has been aware of the problem for years but has never done anything about it. The fun part is that once the limit is reached there is nothing you can do. Some people claim there are some things you can do but don't count on it. See if this is your problem but going to the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

They're just very small document attachments I get from work. I don't recall ever having this problem with XP Home Edition. I'll check out the links you guys provided me and see if I can find something. Thanks to all who posted with help.
