I looked around, didn't see anything.
Incase anyone doesn't already know, or wants to know....

"There’s some info floating around the interwebs about ways to enter the Halo 3 multiplayer beta… we’re not able to comment on that just yet but we do know that Microsoft will be formally revealing some new details next week. The initial sweepstakes registration on halo3.com was just the first stage of participation in the beta program.

We can comment, however, on our plans to roll-out a small pre-beta program to ramp up our scale just prior to the true public beta next Spring. Bungie will be tapping active members of our worldwide community to help us transition from the ongoing internal alpha multiplayer testing. Our hopes are to call into service experienced and active players of Halo 2 on Xbox Live, along with people who spread Bungie love (in safe, hygienic ways) and foster our community. Unfortunately we won’t be able to include everyone in this but we are hoping for quite a few (think thousands) spots. Once all the specifics are finalized we’ll provide more details on Bungie.net."

What a failure as a game.
The whole series was lame & a failure. Consoles & 1st person shooters dont mix lol.
Consoles need to stick to there puzzle games rofl & let the big boys play the FPS (PC's)

It's a shame, I love halo, but I never got involved with it all outside the game. I don't have xbox live, I only play multiplayer with my friends...

I own so much at it though...

And I'm guessing it's America only for the beta, which is even more a shame...

The only thing thats good about it is the graphics and the AI. The gameplay is still the monotonous drone of pumping round after round into big stupid bear things. Trust me on that.

Yup, very old. If you don't have a beta place sorted by now, you're not gonna get one. I remember my brother rushing out to buy Crackdown the moment it came out, purely because it came with a Halo 3 beta invite for the first x number of buyers.

If you don't have a place sorted, you won't get one.

In any case, Halo, like all console FPSs (bar Goldeneye), is too fucking slow. It's good, but it's like playing a proper FPS while swimming in glue.

Yeah! Who the fuck said that? Was it a 12 year old with an Xbox?

Halo is nothing special. It's pretty good, for a console FPS, but it's not in the same league as many PC FPS titles.
