Im suspicious of the review, why couldnt they just photoshop the offending 'tags' out? Who are they anyway- it doesnt look like an established hardware site, yet hes scooped all the big reviewers across the net? Theres nothing else there apart from strips of google ads- oh ho ho- perhaps its a way of driving millions of hits his way?

Who knows, but I'll belive the benchmarks when I see more of them.
Yes always be suspicious of initial reviews. I have noticed the site is ran off of Wordpress..lol. Wordpress is great an all but usually not what the major Tech sites would choose.

I should note that there are credible sites pointing out this review as well though.

Me personally, I wouldn't trust the source. Who the fuck has heard of level 505? I would only trust it if it's from these sources:

VR-zone
Anandtech
Tomshardware

All three of those sites are reporting this story. However reporting it and running the test themselves are two different things.
http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=5524 (Just another credible site, this is where Anandtech sends you for news)

Newly created site Level 505 has leaked benchmarks and specifications of AMD’s upcoming ATI R600 graphics processor. The upcoming graphics processor is expected to launch in January 2007 with an expected revision arriving in March 2007. These early specifications and launch dates line up with what DailyTech has already published and are present on ATI internal roadmaps as of workweek 49.

I agree, but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't share the buzz... . Like I said all the Major sites are reporting this article. Overall this site seems fishy. It has went down a few times today. They just changed their WP theme, maybe the bandwidth is killing them.

I first saw this here:
http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/01/ati- … s-geforce/

but there is one point I don't trust...
BattleFILED? TWICE! Maybe they were drunk when they notched this up...

The thing which I look forward to most is the future generation ATis. This was just a stepping stone (power consumption is INSANE, however - I think I'll be buying a nuclear reactor off the Iranians soon...)!

Lol sorry I ment if those sources actually had the card, since those are big tech news websites I think they would be the first to get the cards.
