G'day,

Well i'm having trouble deciding on parts for my computer. These 2 can be mixed and matched.
Does anyone have any decent power supplys they know of that they can link me up with? (should be around 50-100$ US, newegg links please).
Which C2D is better value for money? E6300 or 400?
So ya...pick these 2...customise it, add in parts that don't effect the price too much, please

Mobo: Gigabyte 968P-DS3 - $230
CPU: C2D E6400 - $350ish
RAM: 2gigs Generic DDR2 667 -$ 275
GPU: ASUS 7950GT (512MB) - $440
HDD: Maxtor 16m SATA II 320GB - $128
Case: Thermaltake Tsunami - $100ish
Power: 650W. - $60

or

MOBO : Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 - ~$170
CPU : Core 2 Duo E6300 - ~$250
RAM : Corsair Value Select DDR2-667 2GB - ~$330
GPU : Sparkle 8800GTS - ~$650
HDD : Seagate 7200.10 SATA II 16MB 320GB - $130
CASE : Something to fit the 8800 - ~$150
PSU : Topower 500W - ~$100
Total : $1780

Last one. Better ram, gpu, and hdd.

Edit: If parts can be mixed last one but get that E6400, but if you can afford get E6600.

The config with the 6300, if you got some spare cash, afford a better heatsink+fan combo than the boxed one and overclock the 6300 to 6400 level, but ask somebody how to do it (will probably work easiest with increasing FSB speed, but actually, I know close to nothing about oc'ing )

Be sure the PSU is what you really want.
