aaah yes what what would bf2s forums be w/o the occasional noob question so here it is and sorry if it makes some of you frustrated cause you've already answered it 1000000 times

this is my second account im a corporal with 1000 or so global points my question.... why haven't i been ranked in the world yet i didn't have this problem with my other account, did they increase the number of global points you have to have to be ranked because of the increased number of people who have joined or what?

Well I hope Missionless is right, I to was going to ask this same question about a new account of mine, lucky I only had to spend 30 minutes searching for this topic, instead of posting the question myself in 2 minutes and waiting for a reply why I aimlessly wander around my house. *sigh* just to save the community from dealing with another repeative thread!

Although in the BF2s FAQ it stats about new players:

The queue will only process stats for:

    *
      Players that exist. Check your PID/player nick.
    *
      Players that have a score over 100. Go play more!

Hmmm, that should be corrected? I am a player that most certainly exists. And I got 1500 points...Its been three days now, and no account showing up. Interesting...

holidays & weekends are usually really slow because there is so many people playing it's hard for EA to keep up. Over thanksgiving I ranked up & didn't get it for 3 days. Everything will eventually come (usually), don't worry though buddy, I'm sure your #1 in the world to someone

I would agree with your mother on that comment, she certainly is right. Nobody is special, except for the 'handicappable' kids.

I couldn't code anything if my life depended on it so I'm not positive but I'd always assumed from the way I've seen others talk about it that BF2s gets a feed from EA so the servers at EA have to update in order to send the info to BF2s. Either that or maybe BF2s's servers get overcome by the holiday/weekend load & slow down some. I'm pretty sure it's the same thing whether it's kills or rank or time. It's just time though, I've never lost a point or badge or anything although I've had to wait once or twice.

The process is probably described somewhere around here but I couldn't find it through a quick search so I dunno...you'll be alright though, it'll show up soon enough.

Btw does your global rank show up in BFHQ?

Yeah, my rank and stuff does show up in the BFHQ just fine. I'll just play another 5 hours straight tonight, and see if it will appear on here. I would like to know how i'm doing with kills and death ratios. Im not a stat whore though, I just like to see some evidence of all the hard ass work I put into playing!
