I've been on strike from that map for a long long time now. I don't remember the last time I played the map, it was way back before I made my video. It's all about Wake and Sharqi. If you choose to play SF, it's all about Ghost Town and Mass Destruction.

I don't understand how anyone can play any map as much as they do. Karkand is pretty fun, but I don't understand how some people have played thousands of rounds of it and hardly any other map. IMO, the variety is necessary for me
Im doing my best to avoid karkand myself, it was my most played map, with 69h or so, jalalabad was on 45h, now jalalabad is my most played map, 79 hours.

Put me on the list please. The map is good for 5v5 inf, 8v8, 12v12, anything that's a competitive match. For pubbing, it's most fun on Spun's BFPro server, even if I get raped everytime I play. On pub BF2, no matter what size, what mode, it's horrible. A skilless map where anyone can + their KD's and SPM by playing as medic. Pathetic. Anybody with a huge Karkand Percentage (how much you've played Kark compared to your total time played) shouldn't call themselves uber-skilled unless they play very well in CAL or some other high-profile league. But those Generals who play Karkand all day with their trusty G36E's in infantry only? Pathetic.
I'm on the quest to get something else as most played, prefferably Dragon, Kubra, or Clean Sweep. I don't mind playing Kark on, say, FullContactWar, but 24/7 is just lame. How someone can say Karkand is the best or most skillful map is beyond me. How can you be good in jets and choppers if you constantly shock paddle friendlies and drive around in a tank? The true definition of a skilled player, in my opinion, is a player who is good at every aspect of the game. Tanks, jets, choppers, infantry, AA. If you can do well in anything, rather than just as a Medic on Karkand, that's what I call skilled. If you're really good at infantry, you're skilled with infantry. Pure skill though, is being good at everything.

Well I haven't played BF2 in months so I suppose I am on strike as well.
in v1.41 it sucks hard, cause no1 wants to have a fair gun fight, its just nade chucking all the time. In older versions with ppl that don't live on their stats, they use guns and dont nade spam at all. Thats why I have such a hard time having fun playing karkand on 1.41 rather than 1.12 or 1.03 cause the difference is amazing.
