Hey
I going to download BF2 Special Forces via EA Link. But i got a problem. When I'm finish downloading the game. And pressing the "Install Now" bottom, Nothing Happened! Its just keep doing Installing 2/3 every time.? I tried to reinstall EA Link but nothing works. Kiss my ass EA. Anyone knows the problem?

Ive never had a problem installing EF or AF via EA Link. I got SF on the CD, so im not sure.

But what you can try is going into Windows Explorer and going to here: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Link\cache

Follow the folders until you find "bf2sf" or something. Go into that folder and double click on setup. That should start the install program going.

Dont forget to repatch to 1.41 afterwards.

OKay into this cache folder i found this folder and into that folder ii found a bf2ep1.ead & eagamesbf2-2006online_contentbf2-ep1.eam & bf2ep1.viv

Yea, that folder is a different name for me (I dont know why...security maybe? Might wana delete it from your post ).
But I have the following folders, from what Ive downloaded:
bf2_fullpatch_1.41
bf2armor
bf2euroforce

Go into one of those folders and I find a "setup.exe" - which runs the installer.

I assume there should be a "bf2SF" folder in there. I dont know what those ".ead files" are. Ive got some that are ".eam".

hmm. I wonder if it downloaded correctly? Try the "delete cache" link from in EA Link and redownload it.
Maybe its corrupt?

Thats all I can think of anyway.

close Ea link, log out, log back in and try again
