I agree, however, one flyer every round every map always in the air, even when all your flags are gone and hes got 3 aircraft after him? he can bail over a flag and try get a flag for you to bring everyone back into game and maybe win it? But the flyer will try to fight his way out of it even though everyone knows its hopeless as all hes got left is cannon rounds and harsh words!! What then?
I know alot of guys that could get out of a 3 vs 1 but for the sake of argument, ok. If all that is left of your team is one man flying a jet & there is 3 people from the other team in aircraft, even if that guy bails out he's done & your team lost.....it happens. If it's only one guy & no flags I'd say there's probably an 80-90% chance the round is over anyway so if he bails out over a flag & isn't spotted or commander spotted before that flag goes neutral he will be spotted & taken out as soon as it does go neutral. Sometimes you just lose no matter how hard you try.
I just personally like knowing there's a skilled pilot in the air, it's a good feeling to look at the scoreboard & see a name you recognize with a little jet icon next to it. I think like someone else mentioned though what would probably be more effective would be to add more vehicles although I wouldn't really like that idea either.
Just my personal opinion.

just add more Jets, a 64 player map with 10 jets per side.... the only kills you would get are team kills because there are to many aircraft in the sky Besides I get really annoyed at the noob that climbs into a plane and is just a hinderance to me keeping the air clear, aint nothing like getting RAM from you team mate because he is trying to kill  the plane your chasing....


I have even gone as far as letting the enemy shoot down the Newb and then taking my kill because he keeps getting in my way...

I donT go in blazing away with all missles and guns firing I will wait for that shot that I know is going to take you out if i have to like when you are going in to bomb a flag where my team is at.....


BETTER YET.... lets just add 30 planes per side so we can have air wars and one commander and one to cap flags { flags would never get capped by just one} two planes continue to bomb round the clock at eace flag

Please explain why its a good idea or not. I'm only talking about a way to time people on certain stuff then/ limit them to maybe 2 hours max on a server that they've  been on all day, then when their time is up on that server for jets then they cannot get in it again unless they leave to another server.

So what Happens if I am in the jet when my time is UP, do I die, that is another one of those senseless deaths like the commander who always Drops arty on his own team because he is an Idiot and doesnt know how to Command...

Now I am not saying I am the best pilot around but I can hold my own and on the right server I can go though it with out dying by the hands of others, generally it is because I hit something I didnt see...

Operation Smoke Screen. 14 tanks, 2 mobile AA, 4 jets and 4 helis and a tonne of FAV/DPV's. Thats 24 pieces of "hardware" and then loads of jeeps. Say you've only got 20 people in the server, they are gona be whoring the shit out of those vehicles. After a timelimit or whatever, they all have to walk. Brilliant.
Same applies to all the other "big maps"; Oman, DV, FuShe (imagine walking that map), Songhua, Clean Sweep, AF & EF maps, Dalian, Daqing, Zatar, Surge, Wake and Kubra.

What about maps such as Iron Gator? You have a 24/7 Gator server, people have been playing there for a few hours. Oh look, the MEC can no longer get to the ship since they cant use vehicles as all their team spent 2 hours in that chopper getting to the ship.

Or, lets imagine the other extreme where a whole team has spent 2 hours in hardware whereas the enemy team has had people coming n going and they can all use vehicles. Apply that to the big maps and you have got an even more unbalanced map than Wake. And that is saying something.

Vehicles seperate this game from all the others. You have a reasonable balance between infantry and vehicles and now you wana restrict their use on the servers that actually allow vehicles with this IO bullshit?
All it would encourage is grossly unfair teams and constant server switching whereas all people wana do is play the damn game as much as they like and how they damn well feel like without any more Hitler wannabes trying to fuck up everybodies game *cough* ROE

We all have goals when we play.  Your goals may vary from mine.  Some days I just want to fly, some days I know I need to stay as far away from any vehicle as possible.  Anyway.... back to the goals.  There are badges and ribbons to be gotten.  And a lot of those require time spent in a vehicle.

Also, I've had days when I'm on a server and no one else seems to want a vehicle, so I use it as much as possible.  Why should I be limited in how much I can use something no one else wants?  But on the other hand... I don't get these people that are willing to TK just because they want a jet/heli.  Usually when the crowd starts forming, I go on foot

Like i say people i know it wont happen so please dont give me grief. its a serious thought of mine, i read a fuckin thread earlier about 'whats under your bed'!! what the joe fuck does that have to do with bf2? and people dont have a go at him for fucks sake. jesus grow up. i've been in some same servers for up to 5 hours at a time, and people only want to fly, wtf...... im wanting that type of play to fuck off out of the game. let others get a turn. tell you what you dont like my idea...simple....dont post.

Now I know that this is stating the obvious, but how about you just go to another server?  Or you could just get admin status and kick the people that get into "your" vehicle, like the rest of the twat admins out there.  This is singlehandedly the dumbest idea ever.  It's asshats like you that got the blackhawk miniguns nerfed to uselessness.
