ok so i came across a mac fanboy, telling me a mac can handle 16gb of ram and have 2 terabyte storage.
Naturally, im discard his statement about him saying macs are better than PC's.

So, what is the best mac?

What is the best PC?

BWAHAHAHA.  2 TERABYTES!!!   He's out of his bloody mind.  Macs are better at PCs at some things while PCs are better at others.  Unless he works for Lucas Arts, Pixar, or some other major movie company he's making the worst overstatement I've ever heard.

Old saying:

Macs are computers for tools
PCs are computers for fun

EDIT: I retract some of my statement.  There is a Mac that can hold up to 16 gigs of RAM and 2 terabytes.  Mac Pro I believe it is.  However, after rethinking it, I realized that my PC could hold 2 terabytes since I can hook up four 500 gig HDD and I'm not sure about RAM.  I can either hold 8 gigs or 16.  I'm too lazy to check.  Regardless, that much memory is pointless right now.

Design, Video, Digital Imaging stuff like that are where Mac's shine but in gaming they supposedly fail. I have a MacBook that I use when I'm going to a client's place because odds are they have a Mac network & it's just one more reason for them to like me but it's just a laptop so I can't really play games on it which means I haver 0 personal experience gaming on a Mac, but I do read.

Ya they can hold a shit load more memory than the average PC but so what? From what I understand BF2 doesn't care whether you have 16 gigs or 2 gigs, it can only recognize up to 2gb.

As far as hard disc storage I don't see any reason PC's can have a 2tb storage drive...

Mac users are usually fags anyway when it comes to comparing systems, they think using an OS other than Windows makes them special.

Odds are a PC will better suit your needs unless like  Ganko said you work for Pixar or Lucas Arts. Almost half my income comes from Digital Imaging & Photography & I spend around 3-4 hours a day in Photoshop but I still just paid $3,000+ for a new PC because it doesn't benefit me at all to use a Mac.

The new socket F mobs support 9terabytes of hd space since only 750gb hd exist at the moment. Wtf do you need 9tb (all the movies and songs that probable exist and still room left)for i cant understand people having 1tb.

Actually my church's pastor asked me if he could find a 4 terabyte drive.  He wanted to create a movie archive on his PC.  I know such things exist but they are very hard to get and even more expensive.

Yeah someone in my year at my old school had a computer with 3 terrabytes, it was like 4-5 harddrives, 2 internal and 3 external. Their dad downloads crap loads of movies and stuff all day long. He has like everything ever. I remember this huge list of thousands of movies and games and programs that I could get off this guy.

Also, any PC that doesn't have Win$hit installed is best. Believe me.

A PC can currently hold up to 4GB of RAM, only because of 2 limitations:

1. The largest stick you can get is 1GB
2. The most slots on a motherboard is 4

This of course is disregarding crazy $1Billion RAM and motherboards which can support a 16GB forest, such as Chuy's. A.K.A: 'Consumer market'

A PC could very well exceed that.

As for HDD capacity, Seagate brought out the perpendicular 750GB SATA II. Now remember, some people have 6 or even 8 SATA ports on their mobos...

Edit: Scrap that, just found this.

Oh I believe you. In fact I am well aware of a 2GB you can get off the shelves. HOWEVER, if you read the rest of my post I said

Walk into a store and ask for a 4GB stick. Take a camera.
