Ram overclocking

I have kingston value ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6820141307
on cpuz it has timings of 3,3,3,8 @ 200mhz and i was wondering if theres a way to overclock the ram with stability. It restarts on me every few hours using ddr 433 and at 466 it crashes even if i have the bus to match the ram speed as in 216x2 and 233x2.

specs
fx-55
6600gt oc
abit an8 32x mobo
2gigs kingston ram 2x1gig
600watt psu

My knowledge in ram timings and frequency is very low so bare with me

I've been tryin to figure out how to oc all my stuff to & just found a kickass tutorial that explains everything really clearly & has a big list of what certain components can take.
Gimme a sec to find it & I'll brb...

216to 225mhz on that ram is probably all your gonna get if your lucky

super talent, ocz and corsair handle mem overclocking somewhat better, and patriot's stuff

pretty much the only thing you can do if you dont want to run a divider , is up the voltage on your memory to handle the overclock

its always better to overclock the bus rather then your ram

Whats a divider? I have heard people say it a lot but i dont know the actual meaning.

A divider is running your RAM at a different frequency than your FSB, so that as you raise the FSB to overclock your CPU your RAM frequency doesn't go too high. More info here: http://www.overclock.net/faqs/15091-inf … -they.html

Ok that means im runnung a 1:1 divider and getting 3ghz on my fx-55

Forgot to add, you might be able to get your RAM stable by raising the voltage. Try 2.7v then 2.8 if that isn't stable, but be sure not to go over 2.9.

I might get ddr 500 ram cause there really good at overclocking and keeping the 1:1 ratio
