So I decided, innocently enough, to overclock my Pentium D 805 2.66Ghz to 3.5Ghz. Doing it the smart way, I slowly increased the the clock. So I finally cahnged it to 3.5Ghz, saved it in the CMOS, and rebooted. It boots, but it gets stuck at the Screen that has my mobo's logo and the message saying "press Del to enter the BIOS", etc. No beep codes, nothin.
So I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with cooling (the comp boots).
Should I
a) clear the CMOS with the jumper
b) buy a new processor (I was going to get one anyway)
c) something else
PLEASE HELP ME!
