15 more years! 15 more years!
If they are far away aim above them. you will get the hang of, pfft, sniping. As long as you dont run around with claymores you have respect in my book
Havn't noticed its effects on a normal basis.
Not so much anymore, when i first got used to playing sniper it took a few hours but you get the hang of it after a while.
I tend to shoot differently with the M95 to the L9681. More bullet drop on the second sniper rifle that the first.
And know that and far distance the m95 isn't as good but i still love it.

bullet drop is a myth. just like the female orgasm and nicolas cage's talent.
Bullet drop is proven in BF2. It takes a little getting used to, just play and you'll figure out how far above people you need to aim based on how far away they are . . .
myth and fantasy I says.
If you think that you're not doing it rightReciprocity wrote:

Problems with bullet drop? Nope. I've dealt with it from Bf1942 and DC days.
The only thing that I can really tell you is that it takes time and practice.

THER IS BULLET DROP !!
shots over 200 require aim correction, just put your crosshair on top of the head instead of in the face...
i seen movies where ppl make shots over 800m and they aim under +- 45°.....
so there is a significant drop !!
however most snipers don't tend to go this far and don't experience drop...

i had a problem with it going form the smoke stack at the E. Mine entrance on Fu She (pretty sure its spelled wrong) kept hitting some guy and it kept hittin' im in the torso, and then i was going for some gu who was prone in the corner and i didn't hit him. (not sure if its over 200M though) any ideas
at extreme long ranges i do... but ffs im beginning to think the m11-87 wasnt made for long distance.... anyone else getting similar problems?

First case sounds like simple bullet drop: the shot was dropping and hitting lower than you wanted.theit57 wrote:

Second case is one of two things, possibly both at the same time: missing because of deviation (random variation makes the bullets go off to one side or above) and/or the shots are just not registering. Bad hitreg is one of the major frustrations about sniping in this game... it's not like we're given a lot of bullets that we can afford to waste 'em!
What do you think you need fraps for? You do know BF2 has a built-in screenshot feature?theit57 wrote:
