You are a liar. Some Core 2 Mobos support both DDR2 and DDR... Search for Asrock mobos, in their core 2 section, theres something called vista or something and it supports DDR2, DDR ram, PCI-E and AGP.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

I want to do an upgrade soon. I'll be getting an intel conroe 6300/6400, 7900gt, and a suitable motherboard. I was just wondering if a stick of OCZ platinum ram (DDR-400) would work in this rig, even if its a little slow.
