If I login with my account and play single player does that count towards my BF2 stats?

And..

Why in hades do dead center middle of cross hair headshots from 50 and 100 yards out with sniper rifle not kill people? Or why does it kill people sometimes but not others?

Edi: Bullet drop and bullet deviation must be taken into account but within 100m it isn't a problem, even for the svd.

Singleplayer does not count towards your stats. You need to play on online ranked servers.

As for sniper shots, at distance it is hard to hit correctly and the slightest bit off means you've lost the shot. When you do it and do kill him - nice work.

So really to get a good head shot (with sniper rifle) is aiming a touch higher then?

If your using BF2CC as your server control panel...if you click CO-OP, the Ranked/Un-Ranked option create an error...

Short Answer:...Play Ranked, don't use Only one kit at first...develops your skills for all Class, than you could think about head shot from miles away!!!
